Terms & Conditions

By booking and using Storm Studio's facilities, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms form part of your booking agreement and are designed to ensure a safe, professional and enjoyable experience for all clients.

1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once this Booking Agreement has been signed and full payment has been received by Storm Studio.

2. Studio Hire

The studio may only be used for the purpose agreed at the time of booking.

The booking includes access only to the studio, equipment and facilities agreed in advance. Any additional requirements requested on the day of hire may be subject to availability and additional charges.

Clients must ensure all members of their crew, guests and talent comply with these Terms & Conditions throughout the booking.

3. Booking Times & Overtime

Access to the studio is permitted only during the agreed booking period.

Clients are responsible for allowing sufficient time within their booking for setup, filming, photography, recording, packing away and vacating the premises.

Use of the studio beyond the agreed booking time will incur additional charges at Storm Studio's prevailing hourly rate of £100 per hour.

4. Payments

Full payment is required in advance to secure your booking.

Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

5. Damage Deposit

A refundable damage deposit of £150 is required prior to the booking.

Following completion of the hire, Storm Studio will inspect the studio, equipment and facilities. Subject to a satisfactory inspection, the deposit will normally be refunded on the same or next working day.

Storm Studio reserves the right to deduct the reasonable cost of:

• Repairing any damage to the studio or equipment;
• Replacing missing or damaged items;
• Additional cleaning where the studio has not been left in a satisfactory condition;
• Any additional costs incurred as a result of a breach of this agreement.

Where costs exceed the value of the deposit, the client agrees to reimburse Storm Studio for the remaining balance.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled booking.

Bookings cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice may be charged the full hire fee.

Storm Studio reserves the right to reschedule bookings where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

7. Studio Condition

The studio must be left clean, tidy and in substantially the same condition in which it was provided.

Clients are responsible for removing all personal belongings, props, equipment and waste before the end of the booking.

Additional cleaning or waste removal may result in additional charges.

8. Equipment & Facilities

Only equipment and facilities agreed as part of the booking may be used.

Clients are responsible for all equipment provided during their hire and must report any faults or damage immediately.

External equipment, props or production activities that may present a safety risk or risk damage to the studio must be approved by Storm Studio in advance.

Storm Studio reserves the right to refuse the use of any equipment or activity considered unsafe or likely to cause damage.

9. Health & Safety

Clients are responsible for the safety and conduct of all crew members, guests and talent attending the booking.

Fire exits, access routes and emergency equipment must remain unobstructed at all times.

Any accident, injury or incident occurring during the booking must be reported to Storm Studio immediately.

10. Conduct

Storm Studio reserves the right to terminate a booking immediately, without refund, where any client, guest or member of the production behaves in a dangerous, abusive, illegal or irresponsible manner, or where their actions place people, equipment or the premises at risk.

11. Smoking & Alcohol

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the studio.

Alcohol may only be consumed with the prior agreement of Storm Studio and must not interfere with the safe use of the facilities.

12. Parking

Parking is available subject to availability.

Vehicles and their contents are left entirely at the owner's risk. Storm Studio accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to vehicles or their contents.

13. Liability

Storm Studio accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of any client equipment, personal belongings, props, costumes or other items brought onto the premises.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate public liability insurance and any other insurance required for their production.

Except where liability cannot legally be excluded, Storm Studio shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its facilities.

14. Intellectual Property

Clients retain full ownership of all content created during their booking.

Storm Studio may request permission to capture behind-the-scenes photographs or video for promotional purposes. Such content will only be used with the client's prior consent.

15. Force Majeure

Storm Studio shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation or interruption to a booking caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to power failure, fire, flood, severe weather, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.

16. Amendments

Storm Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
